I’m Hayley Palmer, Director of Talk With Ease Ltd and a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist working across Worcestershire and Birmingham. I am also a licensed Makaton Tutor.

My practice is proudly neuro‑affirming. I support children by recognising their strengths, valuing their communication style, and creating sensory‑safe, motivating environments where they can thrive. I work closely with families and schools to ensure every child feels understood, respected and empowered.

With 15 years of experience across primary, preschool, clinic and secondary settings, I have led whole‑school communication projects, delivered staff and parent training, and developed practical, legally robust systems to improve communication support in education.

I have specialist experience in the diagnosis and support of Autistic children, including training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). My approach is child‑led, sensory‑informed and rooted in connection. I am trained in a wide range of evidence‑based approaches including Gestalt Language Processing, SCERTS, Attention Autism, Colourful Semantics, AAC, and Sensory Integration (Level 1).

Every child communicates in their own way. My role is to understand their world, build on their strengths, and make therapy fun, meaningful and accessible.

I am registered with the HCPC and a member of the RCSLT.
